DNA President Alexandra Polier is a media and communications expert with more than twenty years of experience. Her early career as a journalist took her from New York to Nairobi, where she worked for the Associated Press, Newsweek, Forbes and Condé Nast Traveler. Over the past ten years, Alex has worked as the Director of Communications for Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Foundation, The Louise Blouin Foundation, Richard Meier & Partners, and most recently, Dwell Media. Alex founded DNA in 2015. She lives in Manhattan with her two sons Lawrence and Avery.
Director Leah S. Blank has worked alongside some of the biggest names in interior design, product design, media and luxury. From architects to designers to influencers globally, Leah uses her trademark skills of problem solving, creativity and flexibility to produce strategic marketing plans and memorable events. For 12 years, she worked as The Director of Marketing/Special Events for The New York Design Center to create marketing campaigns and events to increase awareness, celebrate the industry and raise funds for select organizations. Her crowning achievement was the annual “What’s New, What’s Next” product launch event, taking place every September. Leah’s commitment is demonstrated through her positions on the steering and benefit committees for The Alpha Workshops and DIFFA’s Dining by Design, as well as her extensive work with Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, Housing Works, The Partnership for the Homeless, Decorator’s Club, IFDA, AIA and many more. Born and raised in Manhattan, Leah is a true New York City girl.
