Alex

DNA President Alexandra Polier is a media and communications expert with more than twenty years of experience. Her early career as a journalist took her from New York to Nairobi, where she worked for the Associated Press, Newsweek, Forbes and Condé Nast Traveler. Over the past ten years, Alex has worked as the Director of Communications for Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Foundation, The Louise Blouin Foundation, Richard Meier & Partners, and most recently, Dwell Media. Alex founded DNA in 2015. She lives in Manhattan with her two sons Lawrence and Avery.

Danielle

Danielle Mayer has spent more than a decade as a cultural influencer, representing some of the leading organizations and individuals within the worlds of art, architecture and design. Inspired by all things visual, Danielle has exercised her creativity and resourcefulness working with an extensive roster of world-renowned artists and designers through her director roles at Paul Kasmin Gallery, Prospect NY, and The Watermill Center; as well as on the agency side with clients that include the 92nd Street Y, Art Production Fund, Acquavella Galleries, The Armory Show, The Rug Company, Carpenters Workshop Gallery and The Museum of Arts and Design, among others

Kelly Burke is DNA’s newest associate. Her background in social media advertising saw her running campaigns for major consumer brands. Having studies journalism and mastered social media, Kelly has now turned her talents to the public relations web of New York, creating influencer campaigns for clients, running media outreach and finding the Millennial approach to all things Design.

Paola

Paola Camillo began her career working alongside legendary Italian artist and furniture-designer Gaetano Pesce as a media coordinator and personal assistant. With this invaluable foundation, she has spent the last 15 years working as a journalist and public relations consultant in New York City. In both roles, she is an avid explorer of culture with a keen focus on the visual arts, architecture, urbanism and design. She has written for Living by Corriere della Sera and PANORAMA magazine, among other leading Italian publications. Paola's strong acumen and skill for creating sound narratives and compelling story angles has allowed her to move fluidly between roles and explore people and places in-depth through a global lens.
